Our Solutions, vSMP Foundation for...

The Power of One, Scale Matters

The innovative Versatile SMP™ (vSMP) architecture aggregates multiple x86 systems into a single virtual x86 system, delivering an industry-standard, high-end symmetric multiprocessor (SMP) computer. Using software to replace custom hardware and components, ScaleMP offers a new, revolutionary computing paradigm.

The Buzz

Nov 10, 2009 UCSD Plans First Flash-Based Supercomputer

When fully configured and deployed, Gordon will feature 245 teraflops of total compute power, 64TB of DRAM, 256TB of flash memory and four petabytes of disk storage. Gordon's 32 supernodes will be interconnected via an InfiniBand network capable of 16 gigabits per second of bi-directional bandwidth. The clustering software will beScaleMP's vSMP virtual memory sharing software.
